May-Treanor was born in Los Angeles but spent her high school years in Costa Mesa where she attended Newport Harbor High School. She grew up alongside her two brothers Brack and Scott. Her cousin is tennis Olympian Taylor Dent. When she’s not training, she is the assistant coach at Irvine Valley Junior College. May-Treanor currently splits time between Long Beach, Calif. and Coral Springs, Fla. with her husband Florida Marlins catcher Matt Treanor. She enjoys playing with her boxers Gruden and Boogie.
