| Not evil but Peace. |

29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. 29:12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find [me], when ye shall search for me with all your heart. To the Christian (a child of God, saved by His grace alone) and only a Christian, the following is true: Because He loves us so much, God gives us only His best, only what is best for us, and only what is His best for us. The Bible teaches this in many ways. It is hard to understand & believe but it is true. Sometimes He gives and sometimes He allows but whichever it is, it is for our welfare. Whatever God puts/allows into our lives is what is best for us. It is a gift from God and the best gift we could have at this point. In time--perhaps soon, perhaps much later, perhaps even in eternity--the reason will be obvious. I know this goes against all we hear & all that is reasonable or logical, but the Bible teaches us this is true.
"Okay, Holy Spirit, the rest is up to You! Give me this faith in You." |
