Ask your friends to tell you what the Ten Commandments are.  Many Christians don't know without looking in their Bibles and yet they will get there hackles up about many non-Christians that oppose them being posted in schools and government buildings.  As Christians we are called to know the Bible and the Ten Commandments would be a good place to start.

My cousin who volunteers at the Rescue Mission in Colorado Springs knew most from memory. 
She was one out of 50.  You'll be surprised how many folks don't know them from memory.  And what is even more entertaining or embarrassing perhaps is folks that were picketing facilities that didn't have the Ten Commandments posted did the worst in calling up the Ten Commandments from memory. The above mentioned web site gives a detailed breakdown of the Ten Commandments.

2 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.

3 “You shall have no other gods before [1] me.

4 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. 5 You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, 6 but showing steadfast love to thousands [2] of those who love me and keep my commandments.
