It is 11:45 PM EST and I am writing at a computer, weird huh? Well my internet was down this morning and I almost had a meltdown. :) It has been a long day so please excuse my lame humor in this blog. Here is a run down: - Had my wife at hospital in Lewisburg for surgery at 9:30 this morning
- Several folks from church sat with me during surgery and bought my lunch (thanks guys)
- Elaine was in surgery for about 1 and 1/2 hours
- All went well and doctor said all looks good waiting for final tests
- Elaine had a small complication and we had to stay longer than expected
- Got back about 9:30 tonight ( I am getting too old for this :))
Thank you guys for praying, even some of my blog readers who I have never met prayed, cool!
Our nurse, in Lewisburg remember, has visited Faith! She was a believer and was a real blessing to us from God. Get this she is thinking about attending Faith, whoa is God not great? She lives here and drives to West Virginia each day. God works in mysterious ways His wonders to perform. My wife talked all day about a special milkshake she wanted. A Dreamsicle shake from Arbys. On the way home I stopped at Arbys their shake machine was down. Then I stopped at Mickey D's and their shake machine was down. I told my wife, "I think God is trying to tell us something." On the way home our daughter in-law Kathy who is a nurse said milk products are a no-no after surgery so God was keeping my wife from some very rough moments. He is even Lord of the shake machine. :) Isn't it great to have a church family gather around you in prayer and concern. Thanks Faith you are one great group of people. I think I am just about out of gas . . . no I am out of gas . . . catch you later |
