This morning I sit in the quietness after a storm, and I think about the things of life, love... and that of doing...
The Lord said in Colossians 3;23-24;
What ever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will recieve an inheritance from the Lord as a reward, it is the Lord Christ you are serving.
Be of good cheer today as you enter into the day with expectations of serving God all the way through, until you slip off into heavenly dreams. There are many ways that we over look the opportunities to serve, some people think it is only in the ministries of their home church that we serve, but actually since you and I are the church, it is everyday, every minute. every where and all the way through that our day is a work day for the Lord.
Father I ask you to show me, all of us who think on your word, that you will let our hearts feel the pull from the Holy Spirit when we begin to serve you through our work, our relationships, our families and in all that we do. Help us to find a pure delight in each day knowing that you have been served by your children, that our inheritane and our rewards are heavenly, and they will not fade but be eternal. Show your love through us, let us be your smile, your word of encouragement, your hands to help and your heart to express compassion. May the day we are in be one that brings you much satisfaction in your children as we learn to work with all our hearts in every area of life, for You our precious Lord. Help us I pray. Amen |
