Something to think about.....
The Bible says that we are to hold every thought captive. This means that we are throw out what is not Godly and keep those things that are Godly. I once was given a track to read back in 1989 that stated on the front cover, "Missing Heaven By 18 Inches."
Needless to say that it got my attention. I thought how does a person miss heaven by 18 inches? As I began to read it. It began to get clear to me. Missing heaven by 18 inches was pointing to people who have Jesus in their minds only and not in their hearts. It is 18 inches from your mind to your heart. Wow!!!! That was pretty deep for me. Many people only have Christ in their minds and not in their hearts.
