| My God is an awesome God |

| He is an awesome God and yet I still come short of His glory. I love the song "My God is an awesome God" There are days that I forget about Him, I still get up and hit the ground on my knees, do the devotionals, pray at meals and the again at night before my head hits the pillow, but am I like the heathen who prayes in repetition? (Matthew 6:7) or only when in trouble (Matthew 14:30) for Jesus promised us tribulation (John 16:33) and yet how often do I forget to thank him when "the "good times roll"? How often do I come to a cross road in life and I forget to get the advice of the one who knows what He wants? (remember WWJD?) The closer I get to meeting Him face to face, (and I pray its a long way off but we are but a vapor (James 4:14) and if I'm not giving any thought to Him other then routine, I need his forgiveness. I want to be a success for him (Joshua 1:8) and the Bible tells me how, I an convinced I must start moving today, now, this very second and if I am on the wrong path, I know someone who will be my GPS. (Global Positioning Saviour) What a Glorious day He has planed for me, I give thanks and take up His yoke singing His praises. My God is an Awesome God!!!!! |
