April is now history. In many ways April was a record month for Faith. We had the highest attendance for a single Sunday (524) and the highest monthly average in our history (390). I want to personally thank all of you who prayed and invited folks to come, thanks for all of your hard work. I would like to thank the best staff a pastor could hope for and most of all I would like to thank God for His grace and blessings on our church. 103:1 <Of David.> Give praise to the Lord, O my soul; let everything in me give praise to his holy name. 103:2 Give praise to the Lord, O my soul; let not all his blessings go from your memory.
One of the most rewarding things to me as a pastor is to hear how God is changing lives through His word. Many of you have shared with me how God is using this series on the home in your lives and your families. This is a critical Sunday in this series as we look at the subject; Who is in Charge? We will be looking at the man's important role in the home. God has clearly taught us in His Word the importance of a man's leadership in the family. Please pray for this service and ask the Lord to continue to work in our families.
I now have a blog (online journal) if you would like to catch up on what is going on throughout the week stop by and check out my blog here are some of the recent ones: Nothing gets my motor running like hearing about changed lives. That's what we are all about at Faith. Please pray that we will continue to help people connect with God. God will use us to point people to the cross. Pray for the upcoming concert of contemporary Christian music as we try to reach a different group of people. Pray, invite and attend. Upcoming concert
