We've all heard the old adage of learning to walk and how you have to fall to keep your balance and by faith it is that we therefore learn to take our first steps. It's so true-- in my life experiences I've never done anything new that I didn't try on a whim or discovered accidentally.
I have been entrusted with rule over many things not because I have been an expert or because I have even been that faithful, but I trust God continually--He is the Faithful One!
I used to wonder how it was that folk that I knew were less intelligent than me and sometimes less talented than me (to begin with) seemed to outrun me in the race. And, that I never seem to finish much of anything. Now I get it!
I have a friend who is so multi-talented - it's amazing..I mean this woman takes care of children, nurtures a loving family, sells real estate, makes jewelry, and the beat goes on..... And these days, I give her a run for her money. That's even more astonishing...
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. It tells me that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Smiiiiiiiiiiiiile!
