and my own, God laid these words on my heart.
Walk with me, my friend.
Love me, even with where I've been.
Don't beat me down with God's word,
Realize these words, I've already heard.
Through this valley, hold my hand,
Until on solid ground, I can stand.
Encourage me so I can grow,
through all of life's ebbs and flow.
Take time to dry my tears,
Your words of experience through the years.
Be personal with me with your love,
Kind and gentle as a dove.
Preach not unto my heart,
Sharing yourself is the best start.
If I can't walk, then carry me,
Watch me learn to fly, finally free.
Walk beside me, my friend,
We'll walk together to where there is no end. |

Ducky: I believe it could. I have nothing against preaching, done right. But, when we as christians push it on others, believing we're a little above them because of our "bible" knowledge, that's pride. I just want someone to walk with me......and we'll both grow in it :) |
