I have been homesick today, a lot. I'm living away from home for the first time in my life, and it's completly different than going away to camp for a week, or staying at home while parents are gone. At home there was always someone that I knew that i could talk too. Now i have too make new friends and be outgoing which is hard for me as i'm not an outgoing person. But i have strength in God that he will give me the strength to persever through this. God loves me and this verse just seems to comfort me in times like the ones that i'm going through now.
61:10 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall exult in my God; for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation, he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. |
