| How well are you dressed? |

61:10 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall exult in my God; for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation, he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. What can we possibly buy to wear that shows that we are blessed by GOD? Is it really the material dress that shows our relationship? While to an extent it can hinder the gospel (i.e. you dress in a shirt that says "Satan Rules" yet come preaching the gospel of Christ), it in no way reflects your heart nor your salvation. Jesus asked a question concerning John:
Matt 11:8 "If not, what did you go out to see? A man dressed in fine clothes? No, those who wear fine clothes are in kings' palaces."
Whether you dress "well" or not is no reflection of your salvation. We as ambassadors of Christ should be less concerned with the tear in our clothes than with the tear in the unsaved hearts. Let's have the attitude of Paul: 9:21 To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law. 9:22 To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all [men], that I might by all means save some. 9:23 And this I do for the gospel's sake, that I might be partaker thereof with [you]. Are all dressed "well"? Do all look like they make $50K or more a year? We don't have to look any part other than looking like Christ. The unsaved should not look at us and say, "He/She looks financially well off". (Who cares? That don't mean you're living a holy life.) Rather, they should look at us and say, "Man, you look righteous". If you get mistaken for a preacher because you look holy or people look at you and KNOW that you MUST go to church with your whole heart, that is when they see Christ in you. Don't let them call us Christians because we look like Donald Trump driving the fancy cars, but because we reflect Christ. All those man-made clothes will one day rot away. Then what do you have, but a closet full of ragly junk. That fancy car will break down and leave you stranded. That expensive watch will rust, get stolen (God forbid), or the battery will die. Let your light shine through righteousness and not stuff.
Stay blessed.
