| Posting a Video on MyChurch ... It's So Easy a Caveman Can Do It! Step by Step Instructions |

Ever come home from a long day of work and you just don't feel like "reading" blogs? Instead you would rather just sit back and watch a video? Well I have enjoyed many of these videos, but I did not know how to post them to a blog. When I first joined MyChurch, I saw people posting all kinds of great things on their blogs, such as pictures and videos. It can all seem rather intimidating, if you don't know how to access these features. But thanks to the MyChurch Team, these features are now so easy to use a caveman can do it! Good thing there aren't any cavemen here on MyChurch that I can offend! I was asked to try out their new video feature. So here is video #3 accessed from Video Google. Let me share the basics, so that you to can have your favorite video up and running in no time at all! 1. From your home page, click on "write" under the "My Blog" section. 2. Type whatever you want to say about the video, if anything. 3. Click on the "Video" icon you see here. 4. Open another browser to find the video you would like to post. Here are some sites you can use to access videos: www.youtube.com www.godtube.com www.video.google.com or www.metacafe.com 5. Some of the sites will let you just right click on the web address to copy and then right click to paste into the Video URL box. If not, choose the "embedded" option. Go to the bottom of the page where your video is, and you should see an embedded code. Right click and copy this code, and then right click to paste it to the embedded video code section. 6. Click "preview" to make sure your video worked. 7. Click "insert code." 8. Guess what....You have a video posted to MyChurch! 9. Is this cool or what?? Hooking onto the title for a moment. I've heard rumors that a network was thinking about giving the cavemen their own series. Now whether the rumor is true or not, the ads seem to be hanging around. My question is this... Does anyone find the commercials funny? (Or have you visited Geiko because of them?) |

| Norm, I think the Caveman commercials are hillarious. My favorite is when he sees the big poster. I did call Geico, but they couldn't touch Nationwide, since they offered a homeowners insurance discount and Geico did not. The cavemen are funny, but I certainly wouldn't spend more money than I have to because of them :) |

The commercials are too funny! "I'll have the roast duck with the mango salsa..." Very classy cavemen. :) Anyways, great job explaining the new feature, Sue. I post videos the old fashioned way so maybe I should start using the new feature. Thanks again. :D

"Whomp It" is a blow up hammer that Cathy keeps at her desk at work. It is also under her chin in her profile photo. I think MaryAnn gave it to her for Christmas. It is supposed to stand for getting things done. Like if you want to accomplish something you just wack the Whomp It hammer. Cathy is our administrative assistant at church and the "Whomp It" of all Whomp It's! Here is a close up of the "Whomp It"

Hahahahah. On the ads by Google at the bottom of this page it says "The Caveman Diet" from www.skinnyondiets.com and "Caveman Ringtones" from www.ringtonescout.com. Hahaha. Who knew cavemen were so popular in our culture that people go on diets similar to theirs and want to think of them everytime their cell phone rings!

Cathy, you can do this cavewomen! Right under the cavemen video, you will see an "Add New Blog" entry box. In the box you will see little icons, it is the 5th one over. See it? When you open "write" from your homepage you will see the icon in the same place in the box.
If you have any trouble, I am only a cave away, or I will see you tomorrow :) |

After talking with Joe, he informed me that we can't post a video on the comment section. That's what I was trying to do.
