hello there. just wanted to share something that the Lord has shown me. when it says that Jesus said he was the alpha and the omega, as u probably already know that was greek. it is proven that the book of revelations was actually originally written in hebrew, also thru multiple references it's proven that Jesus also spoke hebrew (not that you might not have already know theses things). my point is that Jesus would have never called himself the alpha and the omega. one because they were considered by the greeks to be representatives of their pagan gods. also Jesus wouldn't have said this because he spoke hebrew. so he would have actually said i am the alef and the tav which are the first and last letter of the hebrew alefbeit. its also an acronym that represents the entire hebrew alefbeit. so Christ was calling himself the entire alefbeit (which is what the bible was written in). also the letters alef and tav also make the word "eth". its used 7,373 times in the old testament. it's also used in the new testament books that were written in hebrew. most of the time its actually untranslated making it sorta invisible in our english bibles. but one of the places where its used is [gen.1:1] in the hebrew it reads like this "in the beginning created God "eth" the heavens and the earth". isn't that crazy!!! it's also the word used for "him" and "them" in [gen.1:27] crazy huh? well most people don't think it really matters but i thought i'd take a chance, lol - God bless |
