WOW! How important is it for all Christians to remember this when in this day and age with all the worldly influences bombarding us every day. Just today on my personal email account I was sent a pornographic site that was linked to what looked like a personal email. I usually need to look at all personal emails because I am actively recruiting for positions in my new store. The store is under construction and it's email address is not active yet. So, I opened the email which was linked to an adult site. These people are very good at disguising the true nature of their intent. this email got through my spam filter, some emails from the church that used to attend don't get through even though I am still on an email list for men's ministry, but porn did. God created sexual experience as a pleasure, pleasure is of God and therefore good. Exploitation of this is a temptation. I was surprised, this is the first time such an email has gotten through that wasn't filtered. I'm sure that others get these messages but my surprise is the craftiness that Satan uses pleasurable experiences to distort our viewpoint. When our viewpoint of anything we see as good is distorted and abused, then it becomes our god, not from our God. The three shorter letters from John, as well as James, have always been favorites for me. They always seem to plainly but good useful life applying advice right in front of our face for us to use.
