| Daily Inspiration: The Blessing of the Tithe |
|
| |
“Bring all the tithes (the whole tenth of your income) into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and prove Me now by it, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it” (Malachi 3:10 AMP).
God longs to pour out His abundant blessing on your life. He wants to open the windows of heaven for you. When you are faithful in your tithes, when you faithfully give ten percent to the house of God, He promises that your house will be provided for.
Every time you give your tithe, you are making a declaration that you trust God. When you give, you are putting actions behind your faith that keep your faith alive. The Bible promises that when you give, it shall be given back to you. Like planting a seed, you can expect an abundant harvest. Remember, the scripture tells us that as believers, the tithe already belongs to the Lord and it is holy, or set apart, for Him. Don’t let what belongs to God go to Starbucks! Bring the whole tithe into God’s house and see what He will do! He’ll stand against the enemy on your behalf, and He’ll bless you in ways you’ve never dreamed! He’ll open the windows of heaven and pour out His abundance on every area of your life!
A Prayer for Today
Father in heaven, thank You for Your promise to bless me in every area of my life. I choose to follow Your Word and put action to my faith. Bless me as I honor You with my life and resources. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

I just asked a question about tithing this week. Thank you for confirming what God wants me to do.
Your blog is easy to read. The anointing rest on them. I envision you as a preacher. Are you a preacher? |

| Amen, regardless of how we share the word as long as the Holy ghost is in it then it has power. Maybe you are not a preacher according to what you think it is. Even reading a word to someone is preaching. You are a preacher if you say that you are. You are a child of God if you say that you are. Your confession will make room for you! |

why was tithing never about money? Usally wheat. Mal 1 and 2 both say its directed at Leviticus priests for stealing. It was also about a drought. Malachi is talking about Rain. Blessings from heaven would be rain if the Leviticus Priests would stop robbing God
Jesus, nor the disciples or the poor never tithed.

Prophet_Evangelist....... Are you saying that we should not tithe?
God wants you to give whatever He lays on your heart. If that is all that you have, so be it. God loves a cheerful giver. Mt 23:23 NIV-WOE TO YOU, TEACHERS OF THE LAW AND PHARISEES, YOU HYPOCRITES! We recall a preacher, who said, "No where in the New Testament does it say you have to tithe." Here is a Scripture in the New Testament that commands you to tithe: Mt 23:23 NIV-YOU GIVE A TENTH OF YOUR SPICES (that’s tithe)—MINT, DILL AND CUMMIN (in other words, everything). BUT YOU HAVE NEGLECTED THE MORE IMPORTANT MATTERS OF THE LAW—JUSTICE, MERCY AND FAITHFULNESS. Now, listen to the next words. YOU SHOULD HAVE PRACTICED THE LATTER, WITHOUT NEGLECTING THE FORMER. What was the former? your tithe. Without neglecting tithing. There it is. You see, the problem was they were giving the tenth, but they were not walking in faith; they were not practicing justice. Jesus tells us to do both. |
