| Keep The Hurricane Lamps Out |

| So, there I was, tonight. I was driving towards the coffe shop I go to, listening to my new cd, Sharon Jones & The Dap-King's, yes I'm still on my soul and r&b kick. Anyhow, I also saw the moon when I was at a stop and noticed how nice the weather was, the clouds around the moon and the cooler, but still kind of warmth that this time of the year brings. I thought for a moment, that down a few hundred or so miles south, there is a terrible hurricane that's slamming into Texas right now at this moment. I have a friend who lives near Huston, where the hurricane is going to hit. She's fine, her and her son left a day before and are safe. But to those who have either stayed or have left, they will come back to who knows what? So, I'm asking now to my friends here and to those who might read this, please pray for our brothers and sisters going through all of this, it's an upsetting thing to wonder what will be left when they return or if there is anything to return to. So please, take a moment, say a prayer for those involved. Have a blessed and great weekend and keep those prayers going. |
