That is really all I could think of to describe the past couple of days. Yesterday at Faith Baptist was absolutely amazing. God moved like a freight train through Bro. Billy in both services! I mean, it was like, "Look out, God's in this place!" He used it all-The music, people's testimonies, and the messages-man, oh man...incredible, right on in every way. When things go the way they did yesterday, you can't help but step back and just say, "Wow, God was really in our midst!" Only He can pull off a great day like Sunday was. You know how very often after a day like that, you feel low? You know, it can be easy to feel like a deflated balloon. Well, today was not so for me. The day continued on a high note for me. We had a great teen worker meeting at Cheezers' last night after the service, and made some good progress in a very frustrating situation. So, I was feeling good about that, last night and even when I woke up. Aubri really cooperated with me and I was able to get a lot of things done that I really needed to. It was an absolutely beautiful day, and I was filled with praise for all the amazing scenery I was able to see. I had a great meeting with Caleb Vance, and was really encouraged by some of the things we discussed. He is really a sensitive Christian guy who loves the Lord. I mean, he really loves Jesus, and is excited about serving and knowing Him. That is so cool and encouraging to see! Got more stuff done at the office, and left feeling that headway was being made. When I got home, I listened to the promo copy of Mike Hirst's CD (Mike is the one doing the concert this Friday at FBC) and I started getting really excited about him coming. I mowed the grass outside while listening to some tunes on my mp3 phone. (Yeah, I know, I'm a geek) Had some good tacos to eat and watched some 24! I mean, wow! What a great couple of days right?! Yep, God is soooooooo good! Well, I hope the past few days have been just as good to all of you in "my church land." I hope all your services on Sunday were as good as ours were at FBC. How great it is to know that our God can move powerfully in all the churches who are open to Him, all at once, without skipping a beat! Is He amazing or what???!!!! Well, I'm tired so I'm going to turn in. I'm looking forward to another great day tomorrow. As my dad always says, "any day out of Hell is a good day!" At times that could be really annoying to hear growing up, but I'm thankful for the attitude and truth behind it. I thank God for His grace and mercy through Jesus. Why me? Thank you Lord. Thank You. Goodnight and God bless. Chris. |
