I spent yesterday at the park having a family reunion for my wife's mother's side of the family.
I normally cringe when I hear the word reunion because me and most of my family on my side don't get along to well.
One because of my beliefs and two because I won't give into theirs.
I love my in- laws because they have took me in regardless of my past and do not judge me for what I have done in my past , but keep me in line with what I am doing now.
Over the years I have learned a pattern that makes life work and I wanted to share it with you.
God always comes first!
20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness [of any thing] that [is] in heaven above, or that [is] in the earth beneath, or that [is] in the water under the earth: 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God [am] a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation] of them that hate me;
6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Always put God first and everything lines up line upon line and precept upon precept.
Remember,the Kingdom of God is not Heaven above, but the Kingdom here on earth.
The ways to find the Kingdom is in the Bible and with Christian brothers and sisters.
Seek a church that teaches the Bible and nothing else!
Family is the second building block for success, the family unit has been in effect since the beginning with the creation of One Man and One Woman to be fruitful and multiply.
To many times as the children get older they forget about their parents.
If they have to be put in a home that is not the point, don't forget about them.
The bible plainly states in the following verse: 5:8 But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel. To provide for your own is the first thing after Keeping God first that is commanded of us.
Don't rely on others to take care of your family ,Do it yourself.

Country is third, be devoted to the country you were born in, don't expect perfection, because it's inhabitants are not perfect.
Jesus stated plainly in the following verses: 12:17 And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's. And they marvelled at him. Give to leaders and the government they lead the due respect, if you don't vote don't complain!
God puts leaders in positions for his work and his divine plan not ours.
If you do these things your foundation in which you build on will stand through the test of time forget one and it will crumble.
Pray in this election that America remembers these building blocks for a solid rock which is Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God who died on the cross and rose again so we may be spared the tribulations that are here and the ones to come.
Accept him today for you are not promised tomorrow. |
