My Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ, I just want to say thanks for all the wonderful things you and the many others have done for me. Since the "Storm" things here on the Gulf Coast have been really depressing, but I can truly thank God for the Love and encouragement from all the outreaching of christian volunteers such as the NCBMA. My sisters and brothers of the Calvary Community Baptist Church and Rideway Baptist Church you have been a true blessing to me personally. I will ever be grateful for all the hard work, love and new found friendship. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to be able to live in my home, free of mold and health hazards. Your continous giving to even go further in allowing me to have NEW WINDOWS to go with my NEWLY BUILT HOME has been so overwhelming, that I just can't say THANK YOU enough. My prayer is that God will grant each of you blessings so great from His store house that you won't be able to hold all of it. You set the greatest example of "Love your neighbor as yourself". If we all give of ourselves to help those in need, our world would be like our Heavenly Father wants us to live in. Please continue to do the good work of our Father. Again many many thanks to all who have prayed, nailed, sheet rocked, tore out, rebuilt and contributed to my NEW WINDOWS and NEW HOUSE. Pastor Dan, I just want to thank you for being the Good Shepard and leading your flock in doing the Goodness of God. Thank You Your Sister in Christ, Denise Evans Gulfport, MS. |

Denise, It was a blessing for us from Calvary Community Church in Columbia, MD to get to know you and help do what we could to move your project to the next step. I along with you am overwhelmed how folks contributed to see that you get new windows in your home. It was truly God at work. We will pray that He will continue to work through the good folks at the North Carolina Baptist Men's group to see you back in your home real soon. We are also asking for many more to come down and help folks like you who are still recovering from the destruction of Katrina. To God Be The Glory! Mark Wigley <>< |

Denise, there were others who would have loved to make the trip, but the timing did not allow. Please know that the folks who blessed you were merely the tip of the iceberg, there are many more who are thinking and praying for you and your neighbors who continue to struggle in the recovery from Katrina. God bless!! ~mike |

Welcome to the MyChurch.org community, Denise! It is so good to finally be able to "meet" you! The folks around here are simply phenomenal and know when our Lord Jesus Christ is Calling them to action. Thank you for your kind words above and I for one will be looking forward to reading more of your blogs as time goes on. My best to you! Dave |

Pastor Dan and Christian Sisters and Brothers, I'm glad to be serving the same wonderful God who allows us to serve Him daily. Greetings from Gulfport, Ms. Things have been going slow on the house since your departure. I'm now waiting for the windows (Thank You) to be installed and the painting to be completed, as well as the floors put down. It will all happen in God's time, pray for me that I will continue to be patient and wait on Him for my every move. God Bless and your all in my prayers. Have a Blessed Week. Denise Evans |
