| Ask and It Will Be Given |
|
| |
What are you asking for today? What is it that you stand in need of?
Ask and It Will Be Given
7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 7:8For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 7:9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? 7:10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Ask,and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.
The scriptures states that all we have to do is ask and it Will be given. It did not say it can be given or it might be given. It said it Will be given. That is the greatest news.
Jesus will supply all of our needs.

He is my provider. Though I am not that old, I can truly relate to David's words... 37:25 I have been young, and now am old; Yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his seed begging bread.

I love this Scripture...but it goes without saying that...if not properly understood, it can lead to misunderstanding and deception. What is this Scripture referring to? A new job? a car? a spouse? No. What this Scripture is referring to is asking aaccording to His WILL, not our own. Jesus never promise us to have our best life now, while in this state of being and and in this world. He promise our great inheredance in the next. So when reading or praying this Scripture, let's be mindful of what we are asking and whose will we are seeking. |
