3:14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
10:35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
6:11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
All the scriptures above should be meditated upon and taken very seriously. God is not interested in out starting things that we never finish. It is easy to begin, but it takes great courage to finish. In the beginning of a new thing we get all excited. We have a lot of emotions( ours and everyone else's) to support us. When the emotions wear off and all that is left is alot of hard work and the need for extreme patience, we find out who really has what it takes to truly suceed.
In God's mind we are never successful if we stop somewhere along the way. He wants us to finsh our course and do it with joy! If you have been tempted recently to give up---dont! If you dont finish the thing you are currently involved in, you will face the same challenges in the next thing you start. Some people spend all their lives staeting new things and never finishing anything. Let us make a decision that we will be more than people who never reached their full potential.

This was my devotional for today! As I was reading it I started to realize that I do that alot...I start something and never finish it. I am terrible at finishing things. Lets see...I didnt finish high school....now i am going to get my GED....I never finished getting my drivers license....only got my permit...and know i am sitting here with a empty mind..i have no clue what else to say....sometimes i cant even finish my sentences...lol!
From here on out whenever I start something I am going to finish even if it takes me weeks..months or years to finish I will finish.
So I pray to the Lord that he will help guide me through my challenges.
You too can ask the Lord for his guidence when you are facing challenges or starting something.
Remember dont start anything you cant finish!!!!
