Very well written.  When I graduated from high school, the black friends I had moved away and I'd lost touch sort of.  I'm glad God put you in my path at Indiana Wesleyan so I can begin to fully understand our joint culture again.

I really enjoyed your article.  I have a friend from Atlanta who is an African American Lady. She wrote a blog on myspace and in it there was a speceech given about Civil Rights and who actually championed them and who did not.  Here is the Link  http://www.mychurch.org/blog/261652/Being-an-Authentic-Black

I would like your feedback. I am conservative in my thinking. Of all the people out there that I read, Thomas Sowell is my favorite. I just love the guy. My son bought the book "My Grandfathers Son". I am just taken back by the brilliance of these two men. I have heard them in interviews and they are amazing. It is a shame the black community does not listen to great people like these and Star Parker and Larry Elder. All people who started out with little and accomplished alot because they followed their dreams. They did it with hard work.

Many thing Chief Justice Roberts is the best Chief Justice of alltime. That may be true. I think Robert Bork would have been the greatest supreme court Judge ever. Speculation. However I do not think there has been a better mind on the Supreme court than Clarence Thomas. I love the man. He is captivating to listen to. I hope you read her blog. I enjoyed yours and wish more people had the intellectual integrity that you do.
