| Mrs. Proverbs 31, Where Are You?!?!?! |
|
| |
So, Where's this Proverbs 31 Woman???
Have you seen her??? It is not in my home, even thou my mom is very close to it. LOL LOL
But… seriously! Where is she?
Somebody told me once that this woman is an ideal, a perfect model, and that Proverbs 31 doesn't describe some particular woman, it describes the ideal woman. I right away agreed with the person because I felt justified for my lack of Proverb 31 behavior. Great, now I don’t feel that guilty that I am not close to be a Mrs. Proverb 31. Yes! Now I can relax and just accept that she is unattainable because “nobody is perfect.”
WRONG!!! Don’t you hate when you’re wrong?!?!?
The truth is… we all “can and should” be a Proverbs 31 woman! Maybe not the same exact way as in the book of Proverbs, because I for one don’t have maidens to feed or wool and flax to find, but we can all follow the principles found in this chapter.
As follow you’ll read a great way to understand and apply the principles God wants us to learn from Mrs. Proverbs 31. I found this at www.proverbs31woman.com and I was blessed to know that with God on my side, I too can be a Proverbs 31 Woman.

| Hello Lourdes: I myself do not know if I have reached it yet but Lynden tells me all the time that I am a Proverbs woman. Only someone who knows me long enough can tell me. If you are not yet ,I know you can be that person as you love the Lord with all your heart and the Holy Spirit will help you to reach that goal. Sometimes we beat on ourselves which I do , but our Heavenly Father sees us in a different way. |

Amen. My Grandma was such a woman... I would not have described the clothing as elegant, but she did make all of her clothes, and many of ours. Awesome. Something to reach for! |

| Joey, Before I used to picture that kind of a woman as a grandmother just like yours. Today I understand that we should all try to be like your grandma... a Proverbs 31 lady ;-) |

| Guess what Lara Leger, my husband is 100 times better than me with the boys. He is such an awesome father that if there were a chapter in Proverb for an excellent father... he'll be one ;-) |
