| Supporting our church |

The Bible says that we must support our church by tithing ten percent of our income or in some fashion that would be equivalent. I myself do my best to tithe actual money at least once monthly, but it can be very difficult to do so in these economic times. I don't get paid to minister, nor do I get paid to write at this point. I minister because God wants me to minister. I support the church with my time, at least 18 hours a day I lend and ear to those who are in need. I make phone calls, I share, and so much more. I even write poetry straight from my soul to create e-books for sale, and yet, I am appreciated for the writings, for the ministering, for the work that I do, purely from my heart and soul. And yet, I don't feel that I am contributing enough to this church of ours. In the current crisis for job security and financial security, I wonder if any of my efforts are even worthwhile. The books of poetry that have yet to be inquired about. The offers of special gifts that are the same, no requests or inquiries for two years or more since starting the company. Prospects are especially dismal in this.
