I have had several MyChurch members ask me how to add music to their profile page. So I thought I would type up a blog for anyone who wants this information. So here it is....... 1. If you want to add a playlist to your profile page, first go to http://www.projectplaylist.com 2. First you will need to sign up, if you haven't already done so. It's free :) Yeah!! 3. Click on "Search for Music" and choose songs for your playlist. You can add up to 75 songs. 4. Then you will need to open up another browser page to open your MyChurch homepage. 5. Then click "edit profile". 6. In the edit profile box click "html" and put the cursor where you want the music box to go on your page. 7. Then go back to the other screen where you downloaded your music. (Assuming you have already chosen all of your songs.) And click "add your playlist to MySpace" 8. Select "get the playlist code for MySpace, blogger, hi5 or any other site" 9. Choose "Get the code for any other social network, blog or your own personal website" and not "MySpace". 10. Then copy the code by right clicking, highlighting all of the code and then clicking on "copy". 11. Click on your playlist. 12. Choose the color you want your player to be. 13. Choose whether you want you music to "auto start" (music starts when someone clicks on your profile page.) Or choose "No" if you do not want it to start automatically. 14. Select whether or not you want your music to "Random Shuffle" (The first song will randomly change as people visit your profile.) Or choose "No" for the first song to always play first. 15. Choose "Get Code." 16. Right click to highlight entire code. 12. Then go back to your MyChurch home page and right click in the "html" box you opened. And choose "paste" to add the code to your page. 13. Click submit down the bottom of the page 14. You should have music the next time you go to your profile page of MyChurch (not the homepage). This will be the page your visitors will see when they visit your page. Let me know if you have any problems. At His service! Have a wonderful day in Jesus! We be jammin' now! Please let me know how you make out by commenting and/or starring. |
