1:1 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; 1:2 but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. 1:3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water, that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. At women's retreat this weekend we were ask to pray for the men in our lives (brothers, sons, pastors, husbands, boyfriends and leaders). We were to pray that they would be Psalm 1 men. Men who do not walk, stand, or sit with evil but delight in the Word of God--men who are like trees that are fruitful and prosperous for Him---men after God's own heart. Wouldn't our homes,work places, churches, etc. -- be an awesome place to be if the men there were Psalm 1 men. Ladies lift them up in prayer, Babylon is all around us but Jesus lives within us.
