3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.
Wow, what an amazing sentence. It is just so inspiring and a love that our finite minds can't even understand. Reach out and putting ourselves where God was at that moment. He loved us so much that he gave up his one and only perfect sons to take away our sins. None of us were even born when this courageous love was bestowed on the Earth. There are people in this world who known the agonny of losing a child. Could you even imagine if it was the only one you had and both parents had to watch him die. Our cardinal and sinnful nature is not worthy, but God who created us and gave us free will to love him or deny him, thinks you are worthy. Jesus, the man who died and resurrected thinks you are worth it. Praise father, son, and holy spirit for giving us a way to go to heaven. I am washed in the blood of the lamb and because of that God does not see the stains of my sin. I thank you God for giving me a chance to love you back and for letting me love others the way Jesus loved those masses of people. |
