| I usually don't do things like this but I was so impressed and amazed by what the Lord did today that I had to document it for other people to see. I recently got back into the mortgage business after taking roughly about a year off. I believe that the Lord had me get back into the business because this was a job opportunity that came to me with out me pursuing it. I've had a couple of transactions that I've been working on that for some reason or another I just cant get done as quick as I would like to. Today I woke up got some work done early. Everything was going well. I took my wife to lunch where we were discussing Sundays sermon. I was telling her that I felt the Lord was leading me to serve more within the church. At that point Rich called me and asked"if I could help on Sunday with the church BBQ?". I told him I would when I told my wife this she was impressed being that the first 10 years of our marriage Sundays were usually reserved for the NFL. So we got back into the discussion and it was a coincidence that Rich would call in the middle of us discussing serving the Lord. When I got another call this time it was from my processor at the office she had really bad news on one of the transactions I am currently working on. The lender which I used to submit the loan to was about to deny the transaction due to the fact that my borrowers currently have an existing mortgage were they're other Loan Officer used at CALFHA program. Basically the lender was saying that there is no way they were going to finance this transaction because of the foreclosures and they were afraid that the existing mortgage would go into foreclosure. It was a dead duck! Usually when I get loan news that bad I go into a panic and I guess you can say "freak out". But this time I didn't I trusted in the Lord and asked him to guide and show me how I can get out of this situation. When I left the office my broker and I had saved the loan we came back from a near impossible situation to save the file. Now I wasn't worried because I was thinking about the check. I was nervous about telling the family that the house that is so meant to be there's had slipped through the cracks of their fingers like sand. I didn't want to disappoint them and of course didn't want them to think I didn't know what I was doing. I am so happy that I relied on the Lord and I stopped and prayed to him and asked him for direction. Basically what I'm getting at is I want to praise him. THANK HIM FOR WHAT HE DID FOR ME TODAY. LAST BUT NOT LEAST GLORIFY HIM IN THIS BLOG FOR HELPING WITH A NEAR IMPOSSIBLE SITUATION. I NOW SEE IT'S TRUE NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD! THANK YOU JESUS :0) |
