It's amazing how God works sometimes.Yesterday I was feeling pretty down. I was just having a pity party I guess. Not sure. I'm going through a lot right now as some of you know.

A couple of months back I was at the store in our little town with my boys and there was a guy there who was talking to the cashiers after making his purchase. He was moving to the area and was talking about how he was in town looking for a house. I caught up with him outside of the store and was talking to him about how great our little town was and how good the school system was…etc. Then I asked him if him and his family went to church. He said that yes, they did. I started telling him about our church and how great the ministers were and how God has blessed. He said it sounded good and he would check it out. I told him I would pray for him and his family during their move for travelling mercies…etc.

Well…last night I was running a little late for Bible study….I came in through the door and this guy that I had met a few months back was there in the hallway with his family. It was great to see him. He said that he and his family had moved in about a month and a half ago and had been going to the church ever since. Ken (the dad) said that they really were enjoying the church and thanked me for the suggestion.

It was really a blessing to see them and to know that God led them to our church. It's neat to see how God can work in little ways if we just keep our eyes open for the opportunity.  If you think about it…pray for the Thomas family as they get settled in to the area….Ken and Judy are the parents and they have three children I think….

God knew I needed a little pick-me-up last night and came through for me.  It was just a neat little blessing.
