| It is Time |

For those of you that have gotten to know me in the last few months I would like to give glory to God for what I am about to say. In February of 1999 I resigned my position of pastor. It was a very sad day in my life, and there were many tough struggles that ensued after stepping down. Satan had sought to destroy me and my calling. Satan has not ceased to attack me and discourage me as I have sought to do my first works over again and reclaim the ground I had lost. It has been almost 10 years since that time, and I have begun to grow restless and had begun in earnest to seek to pastor again. I will say that I have faced greater opposition from churches, pastors, people, and the devil to reclaim my calling than ever did when I was a young man stepping into that role. However, God has helped me persevere through these past extremely painful 10 years to the point that today September 26 2008 I have been accepted and approved and recognized by a reputable denomination not only to be licensed, but to plant a new church work. I have already been ordained by another denomination and licensed by a non-denominational church but this one is special to me because of the effort that I have put forth in order to achieve this goal. As soon as we establish this new work, in 2009 I will be ordained to that particular ministry.
So tonight, I am thanking God and giving Him glory for giving me my heart's desire. Redeeming my life from the pit and setting my feet upon solid ground. Reminding me time and again, that the gifts and calling of God are irrevocable and finally for His faithfulness to me through these past ten years.
Secondly, I am asking for your prayers. Pray that God would give me direction and that He would bring the right people into my life that will share the vision God has given me and that we would work together to build a great ministry for the glory of God. Pray also, that God would give me direction about the geographic location where this is to be planted.
These next few months promise to be exciting, yet filled with much work as we give birth to a new church. I have to tell you though, that this is the beginning of a realization of a long standing dream of mine. Not just to be back in ministry but to build something from the ground up, and implement all the ideas and knowledge I have gained over the years into something that will be a blessing to the Kingdom of God. Thank you, for sharing my joy with me. Many of you have been a great source of strength and encouragement since I have joined the MyChurch family.
Thanks and God Bless Todd |

I give you and GOD a standing ovation with tears in my eyes, Brother Todd! Your blog is a testimony to God's great rewards for those who endure the fiery trials. He does ask us to give up everything, but what He gives us in exchange...after the trials and the refining...is more than we could have dreamed of!
I'm so happy for you and YES! Prayers and more prayers...and thanking God with you for His faithfulness to you! |

Awe, we have talked about this my friend. I say you come to Oklahoma, but that would be a selfish thing. I am sure that Cheryl would agree too...anyway. I am praying for you and I I know that God truly has a plan for your life and your ministry. We both know that you are Called. You are called to teach and to preach and to share God's word as only YOU can share it. I have learned so much from you in the short time that I have been a part of this little community. I have no doubt that you will be in a place right where God needs you to be SOON! Faith....it's all you need. I think you have it! Yeah, you do. Love ya, Todd! |

| I am indeed rejoicing for you and with you on this memorable day. It has been evident in the short time I've been on mychurch, that you may have not had a congregation within four walls to preach to these last ten years, but that hasn't stopped you. This mychurch communtiy has no limits or boundaries and God has never stopped using your noble vessel. May He continue to guide and direct your steps to the very place He has the greatest need for you. I would suggest WA (where we moved to plant a new church), but it looks like my family is moving again. You have indeed been a source of strength and encouragemnet to so many, and I for one, would like to thank you. Many blessings and prayers go out to you! |

Birdie: Thank you for your kind words and more importantly your prayers. I have been honored to make your aquaintance here.
Val: Thank you, for your prayers concerning this. It has been a long road, but the feeling of accomplishment that I have now is greater than any of the degrees I had earned or honors bestowed upon me. I guess, because I really have paid a higher price of sacrifice than anything else. Many of you were a testimony to me, to the fact that had not taken away the gifts and the calling. I always pray for more faith because I know that is what it is going to take. You are a blessing to me and thank you for the encouragement and the sharing of my joy! |

| DeeDee: Your words are so powerul and weighty! Wow! Thank you, it humbling to hear praise like that, and I pass it on to the Lord, but thank you for your loving kindness towards me. Thank you, for your prayers. I have a brother living in Federal Way so I would not be totally alone, but Washington State was not even on the radar! However, not a bad idea. Thanks again for your kindness. |

I bless Jesus for this opportunity. My spirit rejoices with you and your family. The people you pastor are getting a gift in you. your wisdom..your humility and your pastor's heart. Today has been just an okay day until I read this blog. With tears in my eyes, praising him, who keeps us from falling, I say : The God we serve is good and faithful! I know what it is like to wait for a ministry to flower and flourish. I am just so excited for you. I am sure this time will be sweeter, more endearing as you pastor not only because you are older, but because you had to fight and persevere so diligently for this opportunity. The door that the Lord opens, no man can shut. Know that you have my prayers and I put my faith with your faith and the rest of your mychurch family that this time will be an ease, a joy, and a blessing. I wholeheartedly agree with Joey and so many others, your blogs have ministered to me and I pray you continue to share your wisdom and teachings with us.

Bro. Todd, We love you & are standing with you!! May God bless you with every dream that has been held in your heart all these years!! God gave me this to hold on to Romans 5: 2b-5 And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disapoint us, because God poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. You've held on these 10 years. May your heart be blessed as your dream soars to greater heights in the Lord! And you get to serve the Lord with much gladness!!! |

| Praise the Lord Brother Todd...I am just seeing this blog tonight for the first time. Oh how I rejoice with you my friend....You know when you asked me to give you a name for the radio broadcast, and the Lord laid upon my heart, *The Preacher*...little did I know that you actually were a preacher (smile)...I only knew that every time I read your poetry...there was a message. As I've come to know you, of course, you shared with me your hearts desire to pastor a church...Praise be to God He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him, and where there is a VISION, God always gives PROVISION. I know that where ever the Lord plants your feet my friend, you will be a tremendous blessing to everyone around you. You certainly have touched my life here on MyChurch, and your words of encouragement have certainly changed my life. I praise GOD for our friendship Brother Todd...I consider you a dear friend, and I love you dearly. You truly will be in my thoughts and prayers, and I'm believing that God will position you exactly where He desires for you to be for such a time as this. I pray that our Heavenly Father will send those your way that will catch hold of the vision that has been given to you, to assist you in this great work for the Lord. Thank you for being a vessel that the Lord can use in these last days. |
