Dearest Lovers of God,
Good evening! Tonight’s writing will address this caption: “making a mark that cannot be erased…”
Consider this:
In order to make a mark that cannot be erased you must first know the mark that cannot be erased. God’s will which abideth forever is the mark that cannot be erased. Jesus is God’s will he is the mark. Jesus said, “Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.” (Mark 13:31).
Contemplate this:
The mark of the beast, can it be erased? Before you even consider the mark of the beast you must contemplate hell and the fact that it is an eternal mark that will not pass away. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but what about hell? Will it not pass away? Hell is a fire that shall not be quenched. And whosoever is not found written in the book of life will be cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:15).
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. (2 Peter 3:10).
“And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.” Based on this passage of scripture, I have concluded that hell is an eternal condemnation it is a mark that cannot be erased.
Consider this:
Some believers are indiscriminate and promiscuous with their thoughts to the point where they become as the unbeliever, heathen-like in their belief. How so? These believers have allowed their thoughts to become composed of all sorts of things which are ungodly and not Scriptural. The moment a believer compromises the Spirit of Truth by yielding to the norms and values of the world system, the said believer has created a friendly atmosphere in the mind making it ripe for an attack against right thinking. When this occurs, the believer’s identity in Christ is vulnerable to a system of selfish and demonic suggestions that seek to destroy God’s will.
I read an article which said:
“The Word is our refuge. When we keep our thoughts aligned with the Scriptures, we are safeguarded from deception and every other attack of the enemy. However, if we fail to hide under the protection of God’s Word, not only are we vulnerable and susceptible to the tricks of the enemy, we also risk being out of the will of God for our lives. If there’s one place we don’t want to be in these Last Days, it’s outside the will of God.”
Firstly, if you have not made Jesus the Lord of your life, this is the root source of all your problems. If you have confessed Jesus as Lord and you are not satisfied then you are most likely deficient in the area of reading His word.
Now, if you are easily conformed to the world, there is a problem. If you are easily led astray by false prophets, there is a problem. If you are tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine, there is a problem. If you do not know how to rightly divide the word of God, there is a problem. If you do not read and believe the Holy Bible, there is a problem. If you do not know the difference between God, self and the Devil, there is a problem. If you are consumed by the pride of life, lust of the eye and flesh, there is a problem.
Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. How can you expect to make a mark that cannot be erased if you are unwilling to surrender all wrong thinking to right thinking which is wholly secured in the Word? Your emotions, decisions, actions and habits will identify your status in the Body of Christ.
The word of God is a two edged sword. It will call a virgin a virgin, a whore a whore, a fool a fool and the wise, wise as simple as that. And while the Word will speak so plainly this truth it is up to you to know which you are. Please understand, your mark is your life’s destination and whether it is heaven or hell will be determined by your choices. Don’t mess around and willfully lose your identity and get yourself erased from the Lamb’s book of life.
Before I close this blog, I would like to respond to a comment from a faithful HGH’r who e-mailed me to say, “Priestess you give it good and hard when it comes to heaven or hell.” After I read the comment I thought, do I teach hell fire and brimstone that much? I haven’t decided but I will say, I grew up orthodox holiness where faith, hell fire and brimstone was a large part of my upbringing. Your comment is appreciated and thank you for your faithfulness to the HGH blog and radiocast.
And ladies, I thank you for your e-mails, blog stars and comments on women issues. I have noted your request for more and my word to you is this, when so led of God I will return to us.
In love I remain, Your Priestess
