As I browse through articles and commentaries at 4:30 AM EST this morning, what in the world made me think that the AP and the rest of the far liberal media would be a little fair in their reporting of the debate from last night? I'm not going to make this a long post, I'm just going to highlight some of the whackiness. Obama's campaign put forward vice presidential candidate Joe Biden for post-debate interviews, and he appeared on all the news networks. His Republican counterpart, Sarah Palin, was nowhere in sight. - David Bauder, AP Television Writer Right, because somehow a shot at Palin is always the casual thing to do, as seen elsewhere yesterday. If I was the Democratic Party, I wouldn't dare let that bigot Joe Stalin Biden touch a microphone at this point. I still don't get why the media is so up and arms over access to Palin when this is the same media that fillets her at every opportunity they can get. If the McCain/Palin wins, oh how I relish the fact she will be let loose on these clowns. "McCain very often seemed like he was condescending, seeming like he was lecturing Barack Obama," CNN's Gloria Borger said. Right, because painting a Republican as anything less than "stern" would be uncivilized. Meanwhile, Mr. "Articulate" gets a free pass for being the little Socialist elitist that he is, forgetting the name of the trooper he's supposedly honoring with wearing a bracelet, and called John McCain "Todd" at one point (Palin on the brain?). Of course, MSNBC shows it's true face when it comes to censuring Chris Matthews & Keith Olberman, as MSNBC let Chris Matthews out of his cage last night. On to more follies.... If he truly knows more about the world than Obama, he didn't show it in this debate. - Mark Halpern, Oxford, MS I shouldn't even bother. What debate were you watching, buddy? This Mark Halpern is clearly in the tank for Obama as seen in his other view points, but the debate was even for me. Except for the fact McCain didn't respond to Obama's comments near the end their at all, the debate was fairly even. McCain came off as the doodling nutjob he is at times, but he clearly laid out why his experience would be best for this country at this point in time. Putting a neophyte like Obama in the White House at this time would mean certain death for us all, and giving the far left wing of the Democratic Party the White House and Capitol Hill would surely mean we will be enjoying our Socialist uniforms (I'm shooting for brown shirts & khakis) for years to come.
