Father God said, "Let go of your concept of Me, based upon your earthly Father... that I may show you Who I AM."
Thank You Father... that I surrendered... to receive afresh. Thank You for the Spirit of Obedience... that I might have the desire to be obedient to You even as Jesus was obedient... yes, for Your Kingdom Sake... but mostly because I love you... and desire to honor You in Spirit and in Truth...

I remember when Father God was taking me thru a period in my life where he showed me his love as a Father. I never had a relationship with my eathly one so as God promises, he restores us according to his plan and purpose in every area of our lives. One particular week it seemed every conversation, every other word out of someones' mouth at work or on the television dealt with "Father". My spiritual ears were tuned into what he wanted to teach me. I read an article in the local newspaper of a scientific study that had been done on the effects of an "absentee" father in the home where a daughter was present. The study showed to prove that when the natural biological father of the daughter was present in the rearing of the child that there is a hormone in the daughter that interacts with the hormone in the father that keeps the daughters' hormone levels to a point that she enters puberty later so that her body has the normal time to develope and prepare her for parenthood and sexual activity. But when there is no biological father present, as in the case of our "fatherless" generation we see today, the daughters body enters puberty earlier, hence the escalating numbers of "babies having babies".
I was amazed at that article and the things God was showing me about myself, but the most amazing thing happened when I got home from work that next day. When I feel the need or drawing to spend "alone" time with God I shut off my phone and listen to worship music and just wait in his presence. This particular morning, I worked 3rd shift at the time, I was sitting in the livingroom alone and I suddenly became aware that I was snuggled up in the chair and it felt like I was sitting on my "daddys'" lap and I'd never done anything like that before, and my phone rang and I was surprised because it's usually turned off, at any rate I answered it and the voice on the other end was a good friend of mine, whom I knew heard clearly the voice of the Spirit, she said "While I was running my vacuum cleaner God told me to call you and tell you that he was so proud of his little girl and to climb back in his lap and let him love on you awhile". I totally broke at that point and made my way back to the chair where I spent most of the rest of the day. No one but our Father can be that personal and loving to his children and from that point on I've never had any trouble relating to him as my daddy and I know I will always be his little girl and he's constantly preparing me to come into my adulthood right on time! I love him so! |

Thanks you giver of life (brenda) for you wonderful testimony... keep them coming... there is life and power in them... and many are in need of reading/hearing that which HE has done and is doing... in and through you and James... (all of us), it was wonderful to have met you face two face... appreciate your being obedient to HIS leading... it was such a blessing... thanks for responding to my invite to come fellowship with us here at mychurch from www.EnterRest.com and Thanks You Lord for that which has taken place since... truly our visit together was a visitation from YOU... it brought about much confirmation and refreshing for us all!!!
