| The Soul of Belief… Approaching Reason |

Hey Love,
How are you tonight? Well in faith I trust. Let us look at the darkest time in Jesus’ life, Gethsemane. It is in this place our Brother first approached reason. Jesus moved toward rationale but his virtue prevailed.
The Holy Bible says:
He began to be troubled and deeply distressed. Then He said to them (Peter, James, John), “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch.” He went a little farther, and fell on the ground, and prayed that if it were possible, the hour might pass from Him. And He said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.”
What motivated Jesus to even contemplate reason? Betrayal was at hand; his life was moments away from the kiss of death.
