| I Can See |

2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. Every time I read this scripture i get so excited about ALL the wonderful blessings my Mighty God has in store for me, not only when we reach heaven, but in my life now. There is a song that says "God has bigger things going on then what these little bitty eyes can see." I look at all the things my eyes can see, I can see the peace and joy and love in my heart.I can see all the prayers my Father has answered, all the desires of my heart He has given me. I can see my precious granddaughters smile, the children in my classes at Church who with openness and eagerness hear God's word. I can see a Church family that has taught me how to love others in so many ways. From the first minute i walked into Kinchaffonee Baptist Church, I saw The body of Christ, in the love that was there for Jesus Christ our Savior, a love for each other and a love for the lost. I can see as I look around at all my brothers and sisters as we gather in that little building to worship our Risen Redeemer, that everyone there has touched my life, lifted me up when I was down, comforted me when I was hurting, praised with me when I rejoiced, you have all taught me what Christ's love truly is. I want to Thank you all for that. I want to Thank God for leading me to our Church there on that hill. I can see that there may be things going on that I don't understand right now, but I can see in God's word " Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding, In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths".Hallelujah. I can see God's love every where i look,in every letter of every word in His Holy Word, in the blue sky He created, in the flowers He placed just for me to stop and smell, and in the prefect plan He has for me, and all of us, and in the sweet ways He puts me back on His path when I start to drift. And no matter what my circumstances are I can see The King of Kings as He stands before me on those waves with outstretched hands. There are so many times I get so busy,or I am hurt or sad or angry, it is then that my Heavenly Father shows me His greatest gift, for I can see His Son, nailed to an old rugged cross, for me. For my sins, my hurt and my pain. And not just for me but for all the world. I think if these are the things I can see, (and there are so many more,) how wonderful are the blessings He has in store for all of us who love Him and keep our eyes on Him. I Praise His Holy Name for all the great things He has in store for me and you and His Church, as we walk by Faith, not by sight. I love you all so much, See you Wendesday night. Lisa |
