To add a comment to "Christian Identity: A Religion for White Racist"

Caleb, based on the first paragraph of the article (below), this group/movement is a fringe movement and therefore not at all part of our precious mainstream orthodoxy. Some may find it important to be informed about this small group of ppl (whom I would NOT consider authentically Christian, given their lack of love for so many ppl), but I don't. Unless they move into my neighborhood!

The first paragraph of the article: "Christian Identity" is the name of a religious movement uniting many of the white supremacist groups in the United States. Identity's teachers promote racism and sometimes violence. Their roots are deeply embedded in movements such as the Ku Klux Klan and the Nazis. They consider themselves true Israel and view the Jews as half-devils and arch enemies. They believe all but the white race are inferior creations. Identity's religious views are bizarre and occultic, and their view of history is often informed by conspiracy theories. Identity's use of the name "Christian" to promote racism and violence is blasphemous. Jesus Christ as redeemer of all races is God's supreme answer to Identity's outrageous claims.

Let us pray is just a fringe movement, but the mere presence of groups such as this (regardless of how big or small they are) sends chills to my back even if they are not in my neighborhood. As Christians who believe in "Jesus Christ as redeemer of all races" we need to be outraged by a group such as this and unmask them. This group and others are like weeds in our neighbor's lawn, you think is the neighbor's problem and that the weed will never spread out to your lawn so you say nothing to your neighbor until one day you find that it does. Then you get outraged and go to Home Depot or Lowe's (whichever store you like) and get the strongest weed killer available to take care of "the problem". Weeds are wicked, aren't they?

Caleb - not to point it out, but your weed analogy was a little scary  ;)  I mean, ELIMINATING anyone for their wickedness is not OUR place, but the Lord's.  Racist people need to be treated with love and led to understand that they are NOT living according true biblical principles and need to be shown through scripture - as you said, that Jesus came to save ALL, not just a group.

It was not meant the way you're reading it. I meant it more from the apathy angle we may at times observe when dealing with things that are not in our front or back yard but that can easily creep in.
