| What a difference sharing God can make! |

This past week has been a tough one for my son, Jeff AKA SCJeffro. His home was broken into, the following day his car was stolen and then his home was broken into again. Of couse he was distraught but he asked God to help him find his things and as the thievery continued so did his prayers. Finally he just asked God to help him get back those things of importance, Shortly thereafter his car was found and in it remained hs Bible and his crosses. Things of importance!
In teaching a youth group, Jeff wanted to turn his experience into something positive for the kids so he told them how he had prayed and how God returned the things he really needed. In doing this he was able to touch the heart of one young man who has difficulty concentrating on the message. The young man related Jeff's story to a Bible Story and surprised everyone by joining in and telling the Bible Story.
What really impressed me though was the excitement and wonder I heard in my son's voice as he related how sharing his story affected the young man in his group. He could not believe the young man was able to settle down long enough to, not only listen to Jeff's story, but to relate how Jeff's story was just like a Bible Story he remembered.
It's not easy being away from your family, your support in life and raising a teenager alone. Jeff has managed to find wonderful friends and to not only enjoy but learn from teaching this youth group. I believe God has given him this group as a way to find joy and to keep his excitement and love of God alive.
I am very proud of Jeff and what he has to offer his church. He is an inspiration to me!
