Thank you for praying for us.  We are needing to change Jake to another med, which means the past 3 months spent slowly adding this last one has been wasted time, and now we must start all over again trying a new med, with only hope that Jake will tolerate this one.  My husband and I are so tired and scared.  We want our "old Jake" back.  If we come to your mind, will you please continue to pray for our family...this is so hard for us.  Thank you so much, Val

GOd grant Val and her family peace in the midst of this trial. Give wisdom to the doctors, healing hands to the nursing staff, and hope for Val and her husband. God I just come against sin, death and teh devil, and pray that their will in this ssituation will be broken, that they will not steal any more from this family. Let this family know that they are held in your arms, and in our prayers. God come to them in a divine presence, with the veil removed and with sight to see how you want them to pray and to respond in this time of pain and confusion. Lord we just pray that the medication change will allow the person of Jake to be strong and present Lord, tha you image will shine forth in his eyes and that You will bring your healing touch to the things causing this sickness.

Thank you so much for your prayers!  We are having to start a new seizure med for Jake.  This means he is on 3 meds, with not one of them at therapeutic level (able to control seizures on their own).  Our goal is to get this new one to therapeutic level, then slowly decrease the other two, one at a time, in order to be on only one med.  This is a very long process, as not to cause breakthrough seizures.  In the mean time, Jake is sick with dizziness, nausea, extreme tiredness, and at times very extreme behavioral and emotional problems.  My husband and I are hurting, as well as our 9 year old daughter, Emily.  Our 3 year old son, Sam, is starting to mimic Jake's bad behavior.  We need prayers, we need our Lord so desperately.  Jake is a loving, sweet, sensitive boy with a heart for the Lord.  This all comes from one mosquito bite last July.

Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,

Hi there Val,

Do not be afraid and do not panic. The God Whom we worship is an omnipotent God. Just have faith and pray. More than our prayers, Jake's prayer is very important. Jesus Loves little children for he has said so.

Our ( parent's) faith is very important because when the children sees our faith, they are more encouraged.

Our prayers are for your son Jake. Eventhough we walk through the valley of shadow of death we will  fear no evil for the Almighty God is with us. In Jesus name we Pray. Amen. Jake will be perfectly alright. God Bless You and the family.

I know there are many of you who have been praying for Val and her family and have been missing her lately, as have I.  Please read the comment she left today (Aug. 14) on my Biblical Guidance blog, and continue to send prayers and love, through this blog or through her personal page.  She could really use a MyChurch group hug!
