Things I won't miss when I'm with Jesus
|

Missing/longing for His physical presence, face, voice, total peace & joy 100% of the time, etc. Dust Sickness- my children & I are dealing with a variety of simple illnesses- colds, throwing up, sinus infection- as I write this, and friends are suffering with far more serious and debilitating illnesses. Anger Lies Stuff Depression and sadness (not necessarily the same thing, but not so far apart sometimes, either.) Meanness Child abuse Confusion &/or misdirection Pain- physical, spiritual, mental, emotional Having to say goodbye
What won't you miss???

Amen great blog. I'm sure there's a long list of things we won't miss when we get to heaven. I just heard song today by Jeremy Camp, titled There Will Be a Day, saying that we have a hope for that day when there will be no more tears, no more pain, and no more sorrows, and rejoice with God!

And the song "I Can Only Imagine" by Mercy Me- another great thought provoking one... I love that it focuses on Jesus and our reaction to Him.

Since I wrote this a man from our church took off without us and went to be with Jesus, at age 65. I can't help but be a little jealous, (if that's not the right word someone come up with it for me) but obviously not wanting to leave without everyone coming along with me. Thank you, George Truesdail, for your life and ministry!!!
