I have been to Turkey twice in my life, and it holds a special place in my heart. As we are in the Global Day of Prayer (May 17-27, 2007 - see www.globaldayofprayer.com for more info), please pray for Turkey. There is much political unrest there and there are elections coming up this summer. In addition, the persecution of believers there is on the rise (Click here and here for more details).
The nation of Turkey is called the Second Holy Land because many Biblical sites are in Turkey. Most of its 63 million citizens have never heard the Good News. Please pray! For additional prayer points click here.
