Just something that's in my heart...
We're facing now in the earth an unprecedented time of economic crisis. This should not alarm those who know their God. Things will get progressively worse, not better, and those who have not learned to walk with God and trust in God up to this point will indeed be perplexed and even horrified. But I want you to know that from the midst of the fire will arise a church that is no longer held in the death-grip of materialism and awash in the current of the world. You're gonna see in the very near future a great distinction between those who trust God and walk with Him and those who do not.
The bible says in Psalms 32:7 "thou art my hiding place, thou shalt preserve me from trouble..." God is indeed our hiding place, our place of security and refuge. We will not be delivered from the crisis and the hard-times, but we will be delivered in the midst of them. Many would disagree with me on this, claiming lack of faith on my part for saying such a thing. I do believe that God does at times allow us to avoid certain things, while at other times he allows us to experience them. He cares more about the end result than our temporary discomfort in the process. Once the process is over, we too will have forgotten the hardships endured. Like a woman in labor who gives birth.
So many have been duped into believing a "comfortable" gospel. Right now the church in America is so worldly, so lax, so carnal. That is an affront to the name of Christ and the heritage of faith that we claim. We have been bound by the god of this age, honoring mammon above Jesus Christ. That is getting ready to change.
You'll see a purifying of the doctrine of the church. So much chaff, so much dross. But oh, the glory that shall follow! A church shall arise who will follow the command of Jesus, bearing His cross and reaching out to the lost. Less burdened by the things of the flesh. Leaner, faster, more responsive. Able to address the demands of the hour. What you see reflected in the natural will take place in the spirit (Just as the army of the US is becoming more mobile and strategic, so too shall the church)...the battle is world-wide, and we must be constantly on alert.
True faith will shine like a beacon in the dark hours that are to come. When all others are worried, desperate and failing, the sons and daughters of God will rise up and bring peace, joy, and healing to a lost world. Our brightest hour is upon us, the day star is arising!
I end by leaving you a word of comfort from the scriptures:
46:1 God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. 46:2 Therefore will we not fear, though the earth do change, And though the mountains be shaken into the heart of the seas; 46:3Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, Though the mountains tremble with the swelling thereof. Selah 46:4 There is a river, the streams whereof make glad the city of God, The holy place of the tabernacles of the Most High. 46:5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God will help her, and that right early.
