Its kinda early for me to be up on a Sunday. I wanna go to church. I want God to really see me today, hear me, heal me, fix these things, I need so much of Him right now. I need his strength. I need his love, I need his guidance. What can I do? I sit and pray. I stand and pray. It got to the point that I feel like I am begging God for all the things in my life. I feel like Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane. 14:36 And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; remove this cup from me: howbeit not what I will, but what thou wilt. I am not like Jesus, I am not strong facing this battle. I am so weak, and discouraged, tired and worn. But I continue. Its getting the best of me these days. I have hope for my childrens future, there are days that even that fades into the mist of things. I sound like a bobble head, with a mind that changes like the wind. I guess thats just how I feel. "We live not by feelings, but by the word."
The word is instilled in my heart, my strength that I have left is because I know that even in my suffering, God wants me to be here for Him. worshiping him, being broken for him. I may never be fixed, but I know that He is in control. I just have to endure this storm. 14:38 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
I know he has a great plan. Just keep praying, believe in healing, the storm will pass. |

The word Gethsemane means Olive press. When you go thru your Gethsemane times, just remeber that the oil was crushed out of the olives. So when you have those crushing moments encourage yourself that God wants the anointing (oil) in your life to flow.
"Count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience." James 1 v 2-3

I'm thinking of you today. I love the above response about the word Gethsemane and what it means. I'm going to have to remember that. I hope you are having a good day today. I am praying for you. I am praying for strength, joy, and healing. 4:2 But for you who fear my name the sun of righteousness shall rise, with healing in its wings. You shall go forth leaping like calves from the stall.
Some translations state that you will go forth leaping with joy! 8:10 Then he said to them, "Go your way, eat the fat and drink sweet wine and send portions to him for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord; and do not be grieved, for the joy of the LORD is your strength."
The joy of the Lord is your strength. These are promises from God. Take hold for today and go forward in joy!! God will see you through this!!! One day at a time and one step at a time. 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
