Hi sis. This and your previous blog go so good together. When we put our trust in the things of this world we will have times of disappointment and despair. But when we put our trust in the only sure thing (GOD) in this life we can rest assured that He will withstand any storm (financial, emotional, spiritual, whatever). His "value" does not decrease nor is affected by circumstance or chance.

It was said of the water that was turned to wine that it was the best wine of the feast. Customarily in those times (and I suppose the same is true today) you serve the best first and then the lesser quality later after folks are too drunk to know or care. It is easy to get "drunk" with the cares and concerns of this life and it alters our concept of who and where we are. When we drink from the well of living water it too alters our concept of who and where we are.

In crisis we see hope where others see loss.

While others look for the light at the end of the tunnel we are the light in the middle of the tunnel.

Our circumstances do not dictate our joy our joy dictates our circumstances.

We see opportunity instead of obstacles.

Yes, the "living water turned to wine" will definitely change us if we are "addicted" to ministry (to others). We will act in ways normal people never would. We will go places, do things, that makes no sense to others or even ourselves.

Many will laugh at us. Others will pity us. Some will ignore or avoid us. Once in a while someone will join us at the banquet table in the shelter and enjoy the shadow of the Almighty from the heat of the day as they drink in the goodness of the Lord with us.

Cheers.

:)
