Appreciate your reading this, TickleMeElmo.  By the way, Elmo is rare nowadays -- good, clean TV.

Interesting.  I refuse to go to sleep with the tv still playing, because you never know what is playing late at night. Cartainly food for thought.

You are absolutely right.. and revstarr.. we have made the mistake of not shutting off the tv before falling asleep and I have been awakened in the night with the most horrific movies playing. We have to be so careful what we feed ourselves on....

The old sayinig:  "GIGO -- garbage in, garbage out," is an important concept to remember and to guard against in our personal lives.

Amen, Mike!  Many of us (yes, even us Christians) need "Viewer Discretion Advised" engraved not only on our TV, but also on our will, our conscience, and our remote.

It is ashame what TV has become especially with the cussing, nudity.  It
is just trash.  It is very rare that I watch TV anymore because of this. Children are so influenced by what they see on TV and parents should pay more attention to even some of the cartoons that have violence in them.
