Reflecting back on the resurrection of our savior, I place myself in the place of the disciplies.  Would I have believed that my Lord was risen? I want to say my answer would be a resounding yes, but, honestly I would have doubted.   Because in so many ways, I am just like the disciples. I am stubborn. I want to see some things. I am stunned when my faith is tested, even though I know Jesus will providee a way of escape. The disciples had witnessed so many miraces, so have I.  Yet there are times in our life--often when we are in grief and despair(as the disciples were at the loss of Jesus) when we are just drained, blind, unbelieving, and plain out tired.  At such times any praise report or testimony fallos on deaf ears.

 Ahh...but thanks be to Jesus, the one who keeps us from falling.  He still continues to trust us, love us, and impart us with anointing and authority.  The savior rebuked the disciples for their unbelief, yet he still empowered and equipped them with spiritual gifts to do ministry,  Friends, we all doubt and shake from time to time with fear and with unbelief.  Know that in spite of our doubt the Lord sees beyond our flaws to our destiny, our purpose, our calling.  And..a rebuke(harsh word) is not a "no" or a punishment.  The Lord disciplines those he loves and his plan is to prosper you, restore you, and plant you in your calling, so that he might get glory out of you.
