| will you REALLY vote your conscience |

I keep hearing to vote your conscience. Well in this election how many will be truly voting their conscience or just voting the better of 2 evils.
But their is more than just the 2 candidates. If we truly vote our conscience, then what about the other candidates, or are we NOT truly voting according to our conscience, but just afraid to "waste our vote"?
Here are the others that are running:
Congressman Bob Barr, Libertarian Party
Chuck Baldwin, Constitution Party
Cynthia McKinney, Green Party
Ralph Nader, independent candidate
So if you are going to truly vote your conscience, then do so!

It's true Gary about our State...I wish I could write in, but alas, we are not allowed. Kinda stinks. Out of our choices available...I will be voting according to how God will lead. Just as we seek God in prayer for all things in our life...or at least we should...I will be doing the same here. All in all...I know that God is ultimately in control. He always has been and will continue to be.
PS, we do, however, live in a GREAT STATE, don't we? |

Alright...are you using the old State motto thing...or are you being very sarcastic? Honestly...I am quite happy to be in this state right now. Our economy is not bad, Gas prices here in OKC are getting lower and I still say we have some of the friendliest folk around.
Am I sounding a bit biased? My hubby is from your area. |

I believe the Spirit of the Lord convicted me I am to disentangle myself from the corrupt politics of men of this world/day ... and thus I must submit to my conscience. I was given an internal impression out of the blue one day, before there were any candidates ... that the next President would be black. So... although I believe I am to be obedient and not to vote in this years election, I believe, if Obama wins... it will be a sign to me, that the Spirit of the Lord was affirming to me Father's plan in advance, for reasons of His Own. I sense part of HIS reasons, was so I would have peace, no matter what follows as the god of mammon and the corrupted governments of men globally are exposed and made low, so the rule of Christ within as our leader, can rise up and rule.
Personally... had I not been convicted I am to disentangle myself ... my personal preference would have been Ron Paul... but alas my will was not HIS.... |

I have not been shown the color of our next President, but just what he will accomplish to this nation. This man will be the Father's tool that will bring about a change to this nation, and it will be nothing that we will recognize as the America we know today.
We need to be prepared as Christians, but not as the world would prepare. for the world would put aside things of this world, but He would have us to prepare spiritually.
So to vote your conscience, is to pray for what the Lord would have us do, being sure to see His plans, not our desires. |

I hesitate to share, but sense I am to write, whether I want to or not, due to my personal concern as to how it could be received negatively. I was shocked to receive the impression out of the blue that a black male would be our next president and like I stated above, the impression I received was not something I was asking about... it came out of no where, long before the next election would even be thought about and it seemed to be revelation knowledge (prophetic), (only time will tell if that was just a random thought or the Spirit of the Lord speaking to me for reasons of HIS Own).
I rejoiced when I heard this... because I have been grieved as to how little humanity has evolved since Pentecost and am led to stand in faith for us to come into maturity through Christ being our head... as over the past 58 years I have seen prejudices regarding colors of skin and races as well as whether one is wealthy or poor, sick and healthy, male and female, one denomination or another, educated or not ... when I received the above revelation, I saw in my Spirit the corrupt boundaries of arrogance and prejudices being brought down, according to HIS unfolding plan ... in Christ there is no Jew nor Greek, male nor female, slave nor free ... Father's desire for humanity is to live HIS truth as their own. I believe He has shown me the tables are being turned, as HE creates a powerful change within the hearts of humanity in our generation... through the power of Christ rising up anew/mature, through HIS Spirit within... establishing HIS Kingdom rule first within our hearts, and then manifesting HIS will for all to see/experience... (first the old mindset must be brought to light so it can be taken off and replaced with the mind of Christ) and who HE has ordained to be American's next leader will be extreemely significant globally... giving us an awareness that which is to come, is coming in due season... Truly a season of change is here!

I also believe it has been revealed to me the god of mammon will be destroyed globably in due season, I sense bartering will become a norm... as the intent of the words/Spirit of Jesus become reality. Thank You Father for the change YOU are bringing into being.... that we may live YOUR truth as our own/reality... with transformative power!

I sense the Spirit of the Lord told me not to serve any system of men... but HIM... and through seeking and submitting to His revealed will day by day, (individually, corporately), global change will take place, working all out for the good in the end, for His plan for us is ultimately for the good... and the contrast between good and evil must be made known so we can freely choose what we will put our trust in/ who we will choose to be... |

Voice: each President does indeed bring in his own people, and it is his advisers that often lead the President into so much trouble, that is why it is so important for each of us to sincerely pray about our own "advisers", those that we call our inner circle of friends.
Spirit: Reading and re-reading your comments and praying heavily about them!! Trying to understand what you are saying... I was reading your other posts trying to get a better understanding into what your comments may be and found this one.

Basically, Father has a good plan which was concieved at the foundations of the world, and all which is taking place is part of that plan so we can be conformed to the image of Christ... (He desires to assure of of such through revelation knowledge/fulfilled prophecy/relating to us intimately, having sent Jesus to be the initator and completer of our faith) and in our present age, through public media the corruption of man globally is being exposed through such as politics, war and greed... but because God is Sovereign and faithful, believers have nothing to fear, for this too is part of His plan of redemption/reconciliation, so the unredeemed nature can be convicted of the selfish ego centered nature Christ died for... and repent and be born of HIS Spirit, which causes us to enter into HIS Kingdom, so HIS Kingdom rule within can rise up in our hearts as a fulfillment of Jesus' prayer... Thy Kingdom come on earth, as it already is in heaven. The god of this world, which deceives/tempts the flesh nature (via mammon, antiChrist spirit ect), must be exposed for purposes of contrast to HIS truth, as we die daily to the old to become fully who we were created to be in Christ.... so we can become hid in Christ through God... and the spirit of the resurrected Christ within us can rise up mature and strong in the power of HIS might. I believe through my times of prayer with the Spirit of the Lord and studying scripture before HIM... seeking HIS mind as I do, He revealed such and more to me... and I am led to share such... that other's may seek HIS Spiritual discernment for themselves. Thank you for considering what I believe I have been given to offer. I am aware... such may simply be my unredeemed nature... thinking it is Him... or it may be HIM urging me to speak whether others hear or refuse to hear, so again, thanks for going to HIM for HIS truth on the matter. Thank you Brother Todd... for your words of encouragement. I believe the old must come to an end so the new can replace it ... the dominoes exposing the unredeemed nature are falling globally so to speak .... and this is a good ... blessings of His Kingdom within will freely flow once the last domino has fallen and been removed.
I believe the Spirit of the Lord showed me back in 1989... that such a season as this economically/politically, ect was coming in due season... and it will get worst as the god of mammon/unredeemed nature is destroyed/brought to an end... but to fear not, for good will come out of it. I sensed before such a season, He would be preparing others who do not serve the god of Mammon/unredeemed nature, to rise up in our present age as a light through the power of the resurrected Christ within them! They will be those who have been set free from thoughts such as, "If I had money I could" or "I can't because I don't have money" "I am blessed/cursed more than others because I have/lack money" and the like... there was a season when they blindly surrendered to the god of mammon, and were ruled by the ego's need to build up their own ego/kingdom for survival sake unaware , as season when they accepted/embraced such a thought process/desire as truth, a season before they were given the revelation they can seek HIM to bring about HIS will, however HE chooses and it will ultimately work out for the good... they have nothing to fear, and they are to share/live such a truth with/before others... allowing the Light of Christ within them to rise up and shine forth brighter as each new days dawns. Such a one who has been set free, realizes to depend upon money or the lack there of is to have a distorted picture or wrong focus.
I believe the global economy is being affected negatively to expose such aspects of our unredeemed nature and bring HIS balance/maturity/His revealed truth/light hidden within .... especially when it comes to seeking our hearts as to who do we really serve... and why do we serve.... are we motivated by His Spirit... His love... His will... His revealed truth/light or??????

Bro Gary... forgive me if this seems to be off your original topic, but to me... it is related, for as you suggested, too often beleivers follow a leader/political party and not their conscience having sought HIM first and foremost (because in some cases, the one running professes to be a believer and they look to a man/system/belief of a man to rescue them, without seeking HIM and HIS will first)... Just as the Father raised up a leader in Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar, to bring His chosen people back to Him, I see this next President as His tool to start a purge of His church.
The next President will come in under a cloak. I don't know if it will be one of the main parties, or one of the third parties. I just know that He has a specific person that He has prepared for this time of troubles.
I see him changing all that we hold dear. I see a radical change to our constitution, a time of vast problems and turmoil. but He is also preparing His children to be ready to stand in the gap, that while there will be a great exodus from the churches, there will also be a surge of new believers that will walk in the fullness of faith.
Spirit:As to your earlier comment:you quoted Isaiah 9:6-7 after writing about the prejudices we have in America, and Obama. My concern is that you were thinking that this scripture would apply to Obama, as there is a movement in America, primarily in the Islamic Nation (the blacks that have converted over to Islam), but in other circles also, that are now calling Obama a savior. But I know in reading your other writings, and prayer that this is not the case.

Oh my...  it never even entered my mind that anyone would think Isaiah 9:6-7 could refer to anyone other than Jesus the Christ... having been called to be disentangled from politics and the affairs of this world, I am unfamiliar with this movement ... thank you for making me aware. It blesses me to know you are one who investigates and asks questions, rather than projecting or assuming.

Yes... I agree...Father is in control .... we are only seeing the beginnings of what is to come... and we are to encourage believers not to be fearful of the changes knowing Father is in control and............................... while urging them to draw nigh unto God...

so back to voting your conscience,
is it right to vote for one evil over another, as in my case, because we in Oklahoma are only allowed to vote for McCain or Obama.
Or to vote the way Spiritwithin has decided, to not vote.
When I vote my conscience, I can not in full truth vote for either one, so I think my vote will be not to vote on the Presidential Ballot. But tomorrow is not here yet, so will keep praying.
I do plan on voting for the other items on our ballot though, such as roads and such. |
