| Having a bad hair day? |

I just had the funniest conversation with my co-worker about hair. She recently got her hair cut and it looks great on her. She started talking about her old hair style dragging her down. Maybe this is only true for women, but a bad hair day really can ruin your day. Your whole outlook can change. No matter how awesome the day began, or turns out to be, simply having a bad hair day can dampen your spirits.
How can you fix that? I've been known to get my hair cut on a lunch break just because I had a bad hair day. Isn't that pathetic! Instead, my focus should have been on Jesus. Simply focusing on Him can and will change your whole outlook. Although that is true and fundamentally all Christian's know that, it's still amazing how Satan can use the smallest things to shift our focus. That's all it takes. One glance in the mirror and our focus can change.
So, how do you get passed that split second decision to switch your focus? Or, how do you recognize that your focus has shifted and get back on track? Got any ideas? Post a comment, I'd love to hear some encouraging words and I'll incorporate them into my next post.
Scripture references would also be great!
5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time; 5:7 casting all your anxiety upon him, because he careth for you.
