Be careful what you ask for...you may just get it!

I am so thankful that the Lord knows what you need and what you don't need even before you ask Him! For a long time I have asked my husband for a small dog, and now that the children are gone, Jim doesn't work any more, I needed something to keep me busy. I wanted a lap dog, but never had the money to go out and buy one, so when Snickers showed up unannounced on our property on my 70Th birthday, my husband said, *See, the Lord has given you the desires of your heart.* At first we tried to see if any neighbors gt be missing a dog, but everyone said NO> So, we have a little girl, her name is Snicker-doodle or Snickers for short. Guessing she is at least 6 years old, housebroken and trained with the love a lapdog should give you. Living so far out in the country, she is truly going to be my friend. the verse comes to mind, *Good things come to those who wait.* And Snickers really is a Good Thing.* He knows what you need even before you ask!
3:15 but in your hearts reverence Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to make a defense to any one who calls you to account for the hope that is in you, yet do it with gentleness and reverence; |

Miss them too, and ya'll too. AB said she read our blogs yesterday, didn't leave us a comment or a star! Says I need to write a book, but can only write as spirit moves. I really am not very good at it.

What's up with that? Yeah these blogs are like little diaries of our spiritual journey. This is a good place to start. A little thought here and another one there. They soon add up. I have been doing this almost a year now and I have collected a lot of ideas and thoughts.

You are a wonderful writer. You touch my heart! Why... your name even makes me feel like I am sort of part of your family in a "kinfolk" kind of way.
