We will all be rewarded according to our works/motives.
Many Christians believe that because they are saved, they will not be judged...wrong. There is a final judgement for believers just as there is for non believers, however the final judgement for believers is to receive rewards (or not) for the work done.
For God is not unfair. How can He forget your hard work for Him, or forget the way that you used to show your love for Him-and still do-by helping His children? and we are anxious that you keep on loving others as long as life lasts, so that you will get your full reward. Hebrews 6: 10-11
For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His Angels, and then He will reward each one ACCORDING to His own labour. Matthew 16: 27
Each one will receive His own reward ACCORDING to His own labour 1 Corinthians 3:8
And remember that the Heavenly Father to whom you pray has no favourites when He JUDGES, He will JUDGE or reward you according to what you do. So you must live in reverent fear of Him during your time as foreigners here on earth. 1 Peter 1 :17, NLT
REV 22:12
REV 14: 13
Psalm 18:20
there are many more scriptures that teach us of our rewards and losses, we will not be judged on what we do, but we will be judged on what we are CALLED to do. That is why it is important not to miss our calling. The things we do "out of the calling" will count for nothing and be tested in the fire. These things will be consumed and things that we thought were worthy of reward will burn up before our very eyes. I dont know about you but I want to receive ALL he rewards that God has for me. Yes we are saved and no one can ever take that away from us (except ourselves) but when I get rewarded in heaven I for one want nothing missing that should be there!
